Jared Henderson was born in Sacramento, CA in 1991. He grew up playing hockey in Salem NH and graduated from Salem High School in 2009. He played Jr. Hockey for the Northern Cyclones in ’11 – 12 as the captain. He was also the AJHL all-star MVP and AJHL defensemen of the year. 

Following Jr. Hockey Jared attended Curry College NCAA DIII. After college Jared went on to play Minor Pro Hockey internationally, playing in Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Netherlands, Turkey, and New Zealand.

Recently, he’s been playing in the Federal Hockey League for the Danville Dashers.  Jared has been in the Netherlands and has come back to New England!!

I have had a passion for hockey my whole life. It is my love of the sport and my determination that have allowed me to travel across the world playing hockey and meeting others with the same values. 

As I’ve supported the coaching staff by working with the youth programs, these varied experiences with other teams and other cultures have given me insight into not only how I learn and train but also how others learn and train.  

I’ve worked on the coaching staff in Turnhout Belgium, Osby Sweden, Auckland New Zealand, Istanbul Turkey, and Secmol School Leh Ladakh in the Himalayas. 

I hope that I will be able to continue playing, learning, and sharing my passion for hockey with others around me.
