Corey Hassan has been training players at the professional, collegiate, high school, and youth level since 2008. Corey trains in all aspects of the game, however he is often sought out by players looking to improve their shooting. Whether it be form, mechanics, accuracy, or working to develop a quicker release, shooting is Corey’s expertise.
Corey was born and raised in New Hampshire, and was not a natural athlete. He knew it was not going to be his natural athleticism that would allow him to play at the next level. He focused specifically on studying and mastering his shooting abilities; on the move, pull-ups, step backs, coming off screens. Most of his workouts revolved around purely jump shots and it helped tremendously.
Corey was the New Hampshire Player of the Year in 2005, and set 1st team All-State Records in 2004 and 2005. He scored a school record of 50 points in 1 game and was also a McDonald’s All American Nominee. He played at the D1 college level for Boston University and Sacred Hear University. He is the Boston University leader in 3-pointers made by a Freshmen (68) and also is on the top 10 list at Boston University for most three pointers in a season.
